In 1955, Prouve, French architect, engineer and designer, participated in the competition for furnishings for the dormitory in Antony, near Paris.
Working closely with Charlotte Perriand, he designed this commendable furniture series for the common rooms, the cafeterias and other rooms in the dormitory. They included the Antony Chair, which Prouve had drafted in 1950 intending it for the University of Strasbourg.
The authentic Vitra Miniature always comes in the little wooden packing box from the Vitra Design Museum Collection. |
